Exhibition - January 2012
|
At
the end of June 2010 Uttlesford District
Council unanimously approved our application
to build a new village hall and sports
facilities on the village Playing Fields,
financed by some new houses. This was
achieved because of the strong backing
of Manuden residents.
Since then the Project Steering Committee
has been working with our preferred developer,
Pelham Structures, listening to the comments
of residents living near the Playing
Fields and taking advice from the District
Council in order to prepare the Final
Planning Application. The Final Application
will describe in detail the design and
layout of the buildings and all that
goes with a project of this complexity;
once approved, construction work can
commence.
We
are now almost ready to submit the
Final Application.

Before
we do so, in order that you could see
what is proposed in terms of the layout
and design of the community facilities,
the houses and the associated infrastructure,
an exhibition was held in the Village
Hall on the 6th and 7th of
January 2012.
Representatives from the Steering Committee
and Pelham Structures were on hand to
answer questions and to note any comments
you may have had.

exhibition was very well attended and
we are very pleased to be able to show
all the exhibition display items on
this website.
